Best combination I've found so far, is a TRL speed conversion box, AND turn the traction control OFF whenever you start the engine. Mine changes gear at the right time, speedo is spot on and variable PAS works OK, just the damn traction control has a mind of its own With a cheap speed converter on, it changed gear at the weirdest places Apparently Pete (at THOR) was going to produce a(nother) revised speed conversion unit for the VVTi, but I don't think it's been completed yet. Timwildman Posted June 4, 2005 Share Posted June 4, 2005 The only problem i've had with mine is the top end kick down problem, which is a auto box problem. But thats only a problem it you want to do 160+ alot of the time. One thing i'd never do in this country. I've not had any other issues during normal driving.
