nurburgring visit

Hi Guys

Me and a couple of friends are planning to take a visit to the nurburgring on the 9th July. This will be my first visit there and I am a bit nervous about taking my shiny new motor round the track.

Has anyone got any tips for making it round in one piece and what sort of time should I be aiming for in my NA supra?

I was thinking about spending some time doing some practice laps on GT4 just too learn where all the corners are. Has anyone actually raced on the nurburgring on GT4 and done it for real? If so how does the game compare? Is the track pretty much how it should be when I go?

A Friend has been to the ring and then he came to my house one day and played GT4 - he said the track layout was ok as far as he can remember but he didnt think it would really help as your that focus'd on the day and you end up judging it as you go.

Tips;

dont worry about your times! but you should be able to do a sub ten if you know where you're going.

Move out of peoples way if they are obviously faster, but do it safely..

Sounds like a plan. Ill let you know what my plans are when I know more over the weekend.

This has actually got me thinking. Are there any other Supra owners that are either going to be going to the nurburgring on the 9th july or would fancy coming along?

Ill be there around the 2nd of july for a few days , not taking the supra though , me and a few mates will be nailing Audi A3 1.8 turbo's round .
