Hi All
I've installed my 1st mechanical boost gauge this evening (in the flamin' rain) and after starting the car with my new gauge connected up - when on idle, it seems to be sat right down at -.8 marker. If I blip the throttle - it moves up to the 0 position. I've not had chance to take it for a drive yet but I was just wondering if these initial readings @ idle sound okay? When I shut down the engine - it shoots back up to 0 again.
Sorry about the basic questions, this is my 1st boost gauge install !!
Oh, the gauge reads from -1 bar to 2.0 bar.
Why does it sit in the minus region?
Cheers

Sounds perfect, that's what it should do.

Cheers Doctor Wilson!
Much appreciated!
I was wondering what was going on with it sat down at -.8!
Car is running sweet Chris - keep hitting fuel cut though so I've ordered a FCD. It did it to me on the M6 a few days ago and dragged the car back so violently that I got COVERED in the can of cherry coke I was holding at the time! :violin:
Cheers Chris!

Duffers,

What boost gauge are you running, as I'm after a mechanical one?
