Jspec discs and calipers on a MR2 Mk2

Does anybody know if J-spec calipers and discs would fit onto a MK2 1990 MR2 without any serious modification..

A friend of mine wants to go slightly bigger brakes to get away from the fading he is getting and we came up with the idea of using a set of j-spec bits..

You'll need to fabricate some modded brackets to hold the calipers in place but it's a mod that has been done a fair few times, Phoenix Power in Japan do it as an off the shelf kit with the bigger UK disks and stuff but it's expensive. If you do it knock out a few brackets and flog them on, I've always thought that the MR2 lot are a huge potential market to mop up all the unwanted J-Spec brakes :)

The rears will be a harder concept due to the different handbrake setup.

We were just sitting thinking about it, since there are so many jspec systems just left behind, might be a worthwhile thing for a little bit of fabrication...

Now just need to hunt down a set of front calipers to experiment with....
