I have decided to keep my supra now so..............

My supra is going back into the bodyshop tomorrow for a full respray as i am bored of the colour so want a change!!

Whilst its being stripped etc and ready for spraying i am still deciding on what colour to go for. The colours wihich i am deciding on at the moment are chrome , black chrome or gold chrome.

Does anyone have a suggestion or agree with any of the colours that i am thinking about?? p.s attached are a couple of pics of how it looks now!!

Rather than chrome, how about the brushed aluminium look? I think they had a convertible Supra in brushed aluminium in a magazine. Pax Mower I think it was called.

I maybe wrong but I thought chrome isn't legal on uk roads (headlights - reflective).

Although I think chrome would look good.

or maybe pale gold

or light blue/Kingfisher blue

got any colour swatches?

not got any colour swatches.

I think it probably would be illegal but i wont know for definate until it has been done! lol

Id say forget all the chrome, flip paint jobs, its old news. Go for a solid one colour. Check out the yellow/red/silver wide-body Supras on http://www.supraforums.com They dont have to go overboard to look gorgeous.

And PLEASE, stick on a pair of facelift rear lights at the back, you can get them for relatively cheap after you sell the old ones.

Otherwise, love it.

To really make the Top Secret kit work (i.e. looks wise), the car has to have a REALLY low ride hight - check out the pic of the original Top secret car to see what I mean. If this is to be a show car rather than a road car then the it needs to be lowered at least another inch to make it sit right on the road. It won't drive well but will look very nice for the magazines :)

Facelift rear lights and indicators will make a very nice improvement - they're a relatively cheap mod too.
