I noticed yesterday afternoon that my rear passenger corner is now 2cm higher than the drivers side. I was fine the last time i looked and it has deffinatly raised itself rather than the other side dropped. Is this a sign of worse things to come? Has anyone got any ideas please as i am stumped.

I have Bilstien shocks and the car has been lover with just springs though i dont know what make or by how much as it was done before i got the car.

Would the spring be actually broke or just strained or something? I have no idea what is wrong at the minute

was it parked on a slope ?? try driving it round and stopping somewhere flat, give it some hammer to settle it in, then have a look again

if the spring was broke , the car would be lower, and that is what govens the ride height, still think it will settle down, i have seen the same thing on mine before, and it always sorts it self out, try pulling the hand brake on hard while moving this will make the back end squat down, don't lock it up cause will not have the same effect
