Hi All,

I'm a newbie here and since I just finished putting new wheels and an exhaust on the car, I thought that would be a good way to introduce myself.

Great site and I look forward to discussions on these wonderful cars. :)

Kevin

I first ordered some SSRs back in January, but the company declared bankruptcy before mine were built… after spending a week or two contemplating which wheels to get, I settled on the Work VS-KFs in silver. They arrived via UPS and one of the fronts was damaged. I don’t completely blame UPS since Work does a crappy job of packing/protecting their products. I finally received the new front wheel last week and now have them on the car. My camera doesn't really do justice to the wheels or the vehicle's paint (both of which look much better in person).

They are 3 piece, 18x9 front and 18x11 rear, so I had the fenders rolled and took a 3lb hand driller hammer to the inner fender frame rails. I sealed off the rolled fender lips with 3M body sealer, then sprayed over it with undercoating.

EDIT: in case anyone wants them... the offsets are +47 (R disk) up front and +51 (normal disk) out back. :D

The tires are Pirelli Pzero Corsas in 265/35/18 front and 295/30/18 rear.

lol i could do with one of those warning stickers mate!!know where i could get some??

also, what suspension are you running as i have pretty much the same diameter split rim wheels as you

Haha! The sticker can be found here: Warning Sticker

I have Tein HAs on it. The fronts are as low as they can be, the rear has about an inch or so of thread to go (going totally from memory). I wanted the fenders to be just above the tops of the tires and kept lowering it until it got there.

Thanks! Too funny bcz I want a dark metallic blue Supra. :D Yours looks really good! The green has grown on me the last couple years, but I've always preferred dark blues for my vehicles.

Beat me to it. Yep, that's it and I love it! It is loud, but not obnoxiously so. There is a really good Supra exhaust comparison here: Exhausts

I had started this thread about 4" exhausts bcz I wanted one that was all Titanium. Ken Henderson already had a shootout lined up which is the link above.
