DBR Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Hi all, quick question......... got my suup bout 2 months ago now and was told the alarm wasnt working and that they have unplugged it because it had blown the printing circuit board............(and therefore was given no alarm fob.) BUT.... i left the window open an locked up the car with key yesterday, returned to the car and opened from the inside door handle and THE ALARM WENT OFF???........... i checked the engine bay and from what i can see the alarm is unplugged? (alarm, bottom right nxt to battery, uk spec) could this mean i have got both the toyota alarm and an aftermarket alarm fitted........ any ideas how i can check alarm/immob. is working prop. on either......... if it is working is it just a case of getting a new fob from toyota............ your help please guys this one is puzzleing me. cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Rash Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Im pretty sure what you heard could have been the backup siren sounding that is behind the dash i think.. The standard UK Supra alarms have caused quite a bit of trouble and many of them are now knackered...
