You would have a twin exhaust style system and then have the solenoid close off the noisy one from when you want some peace and quiet.... I suppose it would make a good compromise... keep the freeflowing loud exhaust for when you really hammer it, and the quieter one for MOT's and general pottering... suppose you could run 2 3" exhaust pipes down the car... Just how easy is it to fit though? doesn't look too hard. you mite have to trim one of the pipes under the car or just slide it along a bit. looks like a simple enough fit. got the gaskets and seals and all and only two screws.
