Bling/Pikey Tax Disk Holder

Ok, so i thought i would add a little something to the inside of the soop and bought one of those metal looking tax disk holders that open at the back. They come with little sticky things which are supposed the hold the little devil in place for the rest of its life, this obviously is not the case as a quick blip of the juice and the passenger had it in their lap.:complain:

Short of glueing/welding it in place has anyone had success with getting the blessed thing to stay put or am i the only idiot who has bought one??

I bought a cheapo one from Maccess. It now stays in place because its wedged between the dashboard and the screen :D

Yeah Halfrauds do still sell the extra sticky pads. Think mine is held up with about 8 or 10 pads.

Ive never had a problem with just the 3 sticky pads tbh!

Clean the window off proper and leave the heater on for a while to warm the windscreen.

No problems here either. You need to make sure glass is clean and dry before sticking on. MrMuscle glass cleaner is great

Yup, clean glass is the key. VERY clean glass...

:( I cleaned it with Mr.Muscle Window cleaner and it still didn't work. Oh well it's stuck now and NOT coming off :D

Ive had a bit of a fetish for them recently, plus a few cars to boot so Im on my 4th.... :eyebrows:
Never had a problem, Clean windscreen with glass cleaner, put one sticky pad over each allan key hole (5 total) and hold in place for a couple of minutes, always worked...

I had some double sided carpet tape which I put through a A4 hole puncher and made some little round stickers.
So far so good.
