half decatted

Just did a half decat today (rear only as I dont have a FCD yet). The result - 0.95 BAR - my first test drive was lots of fun, and great squat under acceleration! Only thing is.. its a bit more smelly around the back of the car with the rear CAT off.

Anyone done the FCD themselves? Better still anyone put the FCD inside the ECU? or is that a bit OTT?

Perfomance is noticeably better, cant give dyno figures, but it really pulls much harder now. Having said that I have also just put a walbro and FMIC in, which also helped noticeably. No restrictor ring is needed with the front cat still in. I dont know if it applies to all decats, but the exhaust clearance improved also!
