View Full Version : Fitting UK Spec headlights on a J-Spec car

OK....I've got the plastic headlights off and I am trying to fit the bulb holders back in. The problem is that the dipped beam and the main beam bulb holders don't fit!

Do you have to 'modify' them to make them fit, or what?

I just bought uk bulbs from envy for both-they will fit fine then-go for philips blue vision or an upgrade.

Yeah the jspec ones arent a direct drop in. I had to modify the bulb holders a little bit before they fitted.

Just get down Halfords and pick up two HB4 and two HB3 bulbs.

Huh :conf: It's the bulb holders, not the bulbs themselves, or am I missing the point ???

Yeah i think the j spec use two of the same sort of bulbs where as the UK use a 9005 and a 9006 style bulb. THats why one of the bulbs fits. Feel free to correct me.
