Have had to change the air con condenser on my Supe, (was knackerd). Anybody know how it approx cost is to get it re-gassed. What pressure is needed in the system?

If anybody else wants to know Part Number was 88460-14310.
Cost £261.30 from Toyota.

Thanks

We charge £80 for this service, depends who does it really. Anywhere from £60 to £130 I've heard...

Not sure what you mean- 750g of gas is required to fill the system.

How did you find out yours was leaking?

I think £50 is what most places will quote. The place i go to charges this the first time and puts a sticker on under the bonnet, then if you go to him again he charges £35. This is especially useful to me as we have 5 cars in the family which have air con.

It wasnt leaking. I had a water leak from the radiator so whilst stripping it out i saw that the condenser was just as rotten, Could stick finger through it.

So thought i might as well do it now rather than having to strip it all out again!
Just preventative really.

Cost me £20  But within 1 day had all leaked out again :(

Anyone got any ideas what might be the problem.
