After removing the wind deflectors I'm left with loads of ultra sticky, ultra stubborn glue which wont come off. What can i use??

I've tried tar remover, autoglym resin remover, soap and water and a stanley blade (which keeps taking chunks out of the plastic) I even tried thinners on a really small bit, and yes , it did melt the plastic :swear:

What do you guys think I should try??

Aerosol brake cleaner is really good for removing some types of adhesive. Other glues come off well with celulose thinners, white spirit, petrol, lighter fluid, meths, Acetone (Nail Varnish Remover)

Always test a very small area first, for obvious reasons.

Bicarbonate of soda made into a paste with a little water and then scrub it ...if its still stubborn cover the sticky patch with more bicarb and use a little distilled white vinegar on the bicarb which will make it fizz ...let it sit a few minutes then try scrubbing.
