Is the walnut dash simply another set of dash pieces that are stuck onto the existing black dash? If so, could you take the walnut part off & re-furbish / paint the black part underneath? Or....am I imagining things & it's exactly the same as the black one in that it lifts off as full units & there is nothing underneath? Can anyone check, or has anyone taken theirs off? Faye Posted April 29, 2005 Share Posted April 29, 2005 Yep the walnut isstick on. I don't have the time or patience to remove the stick on bit and make a good job of it so I have just left it on. Have just bought a spare dash to get sprayed silver, so when I take mine off I guess I'll have the original dash underneath (albeit needing a little TLC) & the walnut pieces if they do indeed come off in one piece!
