Fox Posted April 20, 2005 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Im looking to spend some money on my new supra, but i am at a lost as to what i can do. First thing that i need to sort out is the old failing suspension. So i'll be treating the car to a full set of HKS Hypermax 2, next is the seen better days factory exhaust which i hope to chance to the HKS Super Dragger. The car runs well and has no major problems, my concern is mainly to do with the engin. People have told me that i will need to do a complete engin rebuild before i can get big power gains safely, Due to the high milage 100,000. This is a concern due to the fact i know nothing about these things, sure i know how to service my car and i know how to do the simple tasks but wipping out an engin and setting it back i think i will leave it to the experts. dude Posted April 20, 2005 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Check out Vortex they can get you a BL fully built motor to whatever level you want , I can also get your engine rebuilt to whatever level you require , i had no bottom end probs on mine and it only ran ARP bolts and studs in the engine , melted pistons onthe other hand from running too much boost you wont be able to safe guard against , a stock new bottom end from the states is relatively cheap .
