Cruise

I retrofitted cruise control to my non VVTi auto.

This is not a job for the feint hearted, further to the control motor, cable and control stalk, it also requires a 4-pin brake light switch and an extensive number of additional wires. For these I found it easier to remove the dash and change the bulkhead loom for one that already had the cruise wiring.

Realistically, you wont be able to do to this without spendinng a lot of money.

The vvti uses a crap semi-dbw throttle setup from the factory, featuring the worst aspects of both cable driven and dbw throttle setups. As npne of the vvti tiptronics came with cruise, you have no factory parts to use for the swap.

I have it on mine, but only because of my 911 yurbo dbw throttle body and syvecs ecu, and even then it doesnt work well.

You may be able to use aristo vvti patts as i believe some of them have cruise, but the ecu isnt interchangeable with the supra.
