I've recently had a Boost Controller fitted (Blitz-ID III and power meter) and the True Twin Turbo Mod carried out. still got 1 cat.

So I now have a switch that i can flick, rev the engine just over 5500rpm which switches the turbo's between normal sequential opperation and true twin turbo operation. Exhaust is slightly louder/harsher in true twin mode.

The boost settings needed for sequential opearation are completely different to that of true twin to achive the same target max boost (1.2bar). It seems sequential require more aggresive settings to achive a similar max boost.

My dilema is this (in true twin mode with a max of 1.2bar):

I enjoy a massive rush of boost as much as the next man and the UK spec responds to that particular mod really well, but i also want to retain a certain amount of driveability. I love drifting and the car used to be great, easy to get sideways and keep it there.
My recent mods have made it almost un-driftable. sure i have tons of power, i can even spin the wheels in 4th in the wet, much to the dismay of my underpants but it's all a bit vilolent and short lived.
All the boost seems to happen in the last 2500rpm before the redline, before that it feels as if it has even less power than before, really flat and unresponsive.

How can i get the boost to come in earlier? is it a case of getting the boost controller set up on a rolling road or is it new ECU and full mapping? or is just the way it is with Turbo charged cars when you start upping the boost? if so, what are the best ways to increase torque to compensate?

Put her back in sequential and play with the BC until you are happy

I have been Terry, everyday. I seem to get massive lag - almost feels like a drop in boost between turbo's.

Will removing the remaining CAT make the BC settings required between sequential and true twin any closer?

You probably need to cast you eye over the sequential piping. Ian did a great write up somewhere.

The other options are expensive ;)
