View Full Version : Motorcycle Oil recommendations.
What is a good oil to put in a motorcycle? It's for a CBR 400. I have read that fully synthetics & car oils are bad for bikes, so something like Silkolene Pro S would be a no go then. Anyone shed some light on this one. Thanks.
I belive semi-synthetic is the way to go for road bikes, fully synthetic is not thick enough for normal day to day riding.
The correct oil is 10w-40.
You have several to choose from in the Silkolene Range.
Look here at the "Ride" and "Race" ranges then drop me an email for prices.

Cheers for the info, i currently have Silkolene Pro S in the supra and it seems to be well recommended, so i might stick with there products.
I wouldn't as it doesn't have the same addatives in it as I believe you may experience clutch slip if you don't use a motorcycle product.

I think he means stick with Silkolene as a brand.
Yip, stick with Silkolene products as they are often recommended. Cheers.
