Safe boost limits for no 1 and no 2 turbos

Im considering raising my boost a little as a stop gap until i've got enough cash to go for a full decat and 1.2 bar, with fuel pump and colder plugs :)

Im looking for a peak of 1bar with both turbos online with both cats in. Whats the safest boost that can be set for the 1st and 2nd turbos with both cats in??

Im presuming 0.7 bar for no 1 turbo and 1 bar for 1&2 together?

I don't think it's a good idea running 1 bar with both cats in, from what I've read your egt's would be pretty high and you'd probably destroy the cats.

Someone please tell me if I'm wrong!:)

Hi, i have both cats in and running 1bar day in day out..... However, please note that i am running high output race spec cats.

right, obviously EGTs are a concern, but if im running 0.9 bar peak now, surely upping it by 0.1 bar wont hurt that much would it???

I'd have thought 1.2 bar with both cats in would be harmful to both cats and engine due to EGTs

I've recently (last week) increased mine to 1 bar and i still have both cats. Everything seems to be running ok however engine and exhaust noises are a hell of a lot louder.
