SPG Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Hi guys, I’ve been meaning to fit my full TRD cluster for a while now, but one thing has been holding me back. My car is currently sitting at 69k miles but the TRD speedo has a built in odometer with 101k km and I am unsure how to get the reading to match. [iRONY:ON] Maybe asking some big importers to ask their contacts in Japan how they do to get cars that are accidently clocked 80.000km back [iRONY:OFF] Isn't is possible to open it correctly without breaking anything ?? In my case, I need to increase the mileage so will try to turn at plastic gear with a drill machine or smth like that... Seems easier with facelift odo than on the other one... Style Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Someone somewhere will have some sort of elaborate setup that mimics a speed sensor into the dials so you can go right around the clocks to where you need to go. Frank Bullitt Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 No need to look at adjusting mileage, just swap the face of the dial over from the TRD gauge with the OEM.
