supraadd
Second run at TOTB my RPS twin plate failed ripping the friction material off the plates. There was no slipping, no warning, clutch just jammed, wouldn't change gear. This is the second time it has failed, last time the release mechanism broke. I have spent some time looking at replacement options, finally decided to go for a Spec Twin Plate rated at 1400 horse power. Got it fitted and working, the Spec clutch is a push clutch and converts the release mechanism to a hydraulic concentric release bearing that replaces the original mechanism. Clutch pedal is a little longer but feels OK normal driving. Hope to give it a run next month at Elvington for some high RPM gear changes. supraadd
Don't now it made 760 lb/ft torque and 930 hp @ 2.2 bar with 50 shot nitrous had to stop due to wheel spin on dyno. Finished on track 2.4 bar with 100 shot nitrous.
