Non-starter

For the first time in fifteen years of Supra ownership I am asking for help because it wont start.

I fitted a new battery a couple of months ago and drove it for several weeks without any problem. I have been away for the last month, tried to start it and all is dead, apart from the light showing the door is open.

The battery isn't fully charged, but it is not flat. I have tried jumping it and there is no sign of life. I have put the battery on trickle charge over night just to see if that makes a difference.

After that might I be looking at fuses? Or I wonder if the alarm may be causing a problem, although that's me just floundering!

does the engine turn over? if so you may have an earthing problem, mine did this. tried everything till a member said clean all the earth points ,it was the coil to body on mine cleaned it up with some sandpaper and she fired first time .

the alarm will drain the battery over time i pull the negative lead on the battery when im not using it .
