Confetti recaros value!?

Toying with the idea of selling my confettis. These are the genuine Supra ones with wider shoulder support and the flocked harness holes. The drivers bolster has a hole from wear getting in and out of the car so was going to get them retrimmed in black leather but I feel it could ruin them so instead of retrimming them in leather it might be a better idea to move them to someone who wants the oem style and replace them with recaro trendlines or recaro speeds.

So what’s the value of these now? I will probably keep the frames and also have a spare replacement upper foam

Hi mate,

Just for indication, the genuine SR2 Recaros from the Supra (= the real ones you have) are sold in average between 1000USD and 1300USD on eBay in the US / Australia or NZ, not mint (= with some worn bolsters / faded cloth color and so on) and without OEM rails !

They are extremely rare. Many offer the SR3 or similar (with narrower shoulder support / un-flocked harness holes), but they are not the original OEM-optioned in Japan :)

So let's say, if you decide to fully refurbish them with new bolsters for instance, and new Recaro "AVUS" cloth (reference of this funny textile, hard to get as well) at you upholstery store, you could get IMHO a nice 1000GBP out of them.

As said, extremely rare piece these days (=keep them :D)
