Swapping a manual diff with an auto on a manual gives the appearence of going quicker as you are changing gears more often due to the ratio.

 

Reducing the rear end will reduce the torque coming to the wheels but will increase the speed. It’ll make first gear feel like second gear, second gear feel like third gear and so on.

Thank you but as this was mated with the v161 would that still happen this is where I’m confused would the diff be the same ratio
