Should I BPU it myself or pay?

Hi everyone. Looking to BPU my car. Ive had a quote off whifbitz which was reasonably priced, but the Labour is going to kill me with the other bits i want done. I'm no stranger to a spanner, is doing the BPU myself safe and simple enough? I've already got a FMIC fitted , so it'll just be plugs, fuel pump, decats, restrictor ring and FCD I think. It's more the safety I'm worried about, not actually fitting the stuff. Also whifbitz recommend a 1bar restrictor ring and use a boost controller to crank it to 1.2, is just using 1.2 restrictor ring not safe?

Any info, good people to buy parts off of, or general advice on it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I do still need my clocks switching to mph, plus I'm getting new alloys and tyres all around, so I've asked Paul what's the best he can do me for all of the above with the BPU. Hopefully he's not too far away from what I can squeeze to, and then I'll get him to do the lot for ease and also a nice initial receipt for my fresh import. If not I'll have to think of the best way to tackle it all. Thanks for the advice though, at least now I know I've got options
