New Owner - New Alloy wheels trouble

Hi,

I’m a new member to the Supra Owners Club as I’ve bought a 1996 Supra N/A Manual.

The first thing I want to do is get some new wheels for it but reading some other posts it ain’t as easy as it sounds.

My problem is that the previous owner had upgraded the brakes to the Twin Turbo brakes and he had mentioned that buying new wheels for it would be difficult as it would have to clear the Caliper.

The wheels I am looking to buy are 18” Japan Racing JR3 alloys.

My question is what size wheel would I have to buy to get the clearance? For example how wide, what offset...

Any help would be great.

Thanks that’s helped a lot! Nice car by the way.

Just checked would these fit? Couldn’t find the same sizes.

Front: 8”x 18” ET30

Rear: 9” x 18” ET40
