hi folks

tried doing a project thread but it wont allow me. I had a very detailed post typed out but laptop froze and lost it all so not going typing it all again lol. Here is bare bones of it....

Im a truck driver and on a delivery i was doing 3 weeks ago stumbled across this car which sat in this spot for 11 years untouched. I got talking to the owner and having found out some of th story behind the car and how much he'd accept , we shook hands on it and the car was now mine. Im totally new to supras as im a skyline owner also but knew this car had potential..

Details are

1993 toyota supra sz

w58 5 speed manual

100% stock bar headunit

115k kms

1A1 anthracite in colour

plans are

subtle front lip

lower suspension a bit on springs most likely

source oem floor mats

change oem 16s for oem 17s

fit some spacers all round

ive only driven the car onto recovery truck. It started first turn of the key when i connected a booster pack. Before i use it as a sunny weekend car i need to give it the full once over, including changing timing belt and tenioner, plugs and fluid change, new tyres and a 3 stage machine polish

the car has no damage or rust but paint is very flat and lifeless, ill do full windows out respray in the winter but just want it presestable for the summer. Ive attached pics showing the resuts on a test panel the detailer did

looking forward to members thoughts

I posted up a fix for that a while ago, well it works for me

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?345480-Photobucket-fix

That's not a fix, that's a workaround. Anything that requires me to install a plugin or use a specific browser is just awful.

I presume it's to circumvent some kind of hot linking so that PhotoBucket can still make their ad revenue without spending all their money on bandwidth?

I won't install Flash either, it's mostly only used for user tracking anyway nowadays.

going to edit first post but its going to thumbnails . How can i post full size images without having to click to open it

My post from the first page...

If you want to have a build thread for the car to record all progress you need to upload all images directly to the forum. This will help - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?247543-How-to-Attach-images-to-a-post-thread.

Mate, honestly that is a GREAT find. Lovely colour and please put a thread together of the work you do to it. So nice to see a rare Supra being found and brought back to life. Love the fact it started up straight away, N/A may not be desirable or exotic but Toyota certainly made an engine that is so dependable and strong, way ahead of it's years it's great. Well done, keep us up to date on what you do
