Toyota badge

Hello,

Anyone know where to get the front bumper Toyota badge in gold. I can get the normal ones from Toyota but thought I would try and match the rear badges which are gold. Alternatively somewhere which does a better price on the normal ones.

Cheers

Try Rob at Likwid art, he's in the trader's section, does all sorts of badges including all the Toyota one's. Great products.

I threw away my gold bumper badge as it got broken by the repair shop (broke the locator pins) when they replaced the bumper; damaged following a late night badger attack. Since then I've been using the nasty eBay plastic ones where the gold lasts a season or two before peeling off. I've just gone and bought a 90's soarer gold badge from the USA for $26 delivered. I'm sure they are the same part and will post back here when it arrives to confirm or otherwise.

I read on a random youtube video that the gold toyota badges on supra s were a rare taken option

I did a bit of research and apparently the gold is actual real gold plating. Is that true?

The above is for a camry but if a camry was gold surely supras were too. Pm me the answer if its a yes otherwise we all may find our gold logos disappearing in the mornin!

Glad this thread popped up again since I never reported back, The early Soarer badge I received from the USA is identical to the Supra badge in every way except it is about 15% larger.

There is a set of gold badges for sale in the USA at the moment, US$900. Seller must think they are solid gold.

You can get them spray chromed now. In various colours, inc gold.

Are they durable though when sprayed or coated? My eBay 'genuine' gold badge cost a lot and turned black inside 3 years. The gold badge I got from the USA has the mounting lugs, is 20 years old and still looks gold. My gold badges on the rear of the car are 22 years old and still look gold.

We have had stuff chromed at work and very durable. Gets a 2k lacquer over the top.
