Hi all

I am just wondering is there any way of wiring and checking the operation of facelift folding mirrors without fitting them to a car?

I have the wiring too if that would help and a folding mirror switch.

I cannot connect them to my car as mine are UK spec!

Any help would be appreciated

Put power to the pink or purple wire and they will fold, get some wire, use 1 strand on the battery and touch it to either pink or orange. Cant remember.

Heres my personal instructions for my supras wiring.

The black and dark blue wires coming of the mirrors are for heated glass elements. If you dont have them the wires will be disconnected on the cars loom itself.

so its basically 3 wires to get the mirrors functioning.

Hi any idea of which wire is the earth as these are not on a car?

It has to be the pink or the orange, i vaguely remember touching them with the battery with a strand, either pink on positive and orange on negative or vise vera, to make them fold. I remember my dad saying something about they reverse polarity to fold in/out. Hope this helps as im not very clever with electrics
