Oil level sensor problem

I had the same issue with my old na. Had to drain all the oil to swap the part for a brand new one..no change still did it. So possibly an electrical problem?

Don't have any codes ,some say the sensors are prone to fail ,is it safe to drive with this light coming on ?

Mine used to come on and off when ever id boot it. Its job is to only check the level, so once your level is fine with a visual check id imagine so.

Theres 2 oil warnings, Level and pressure. Sure its the level one? just to be safe.

Personally i always considered the level warning light not only a very useful thing to have as not many cars have them, but it did save my engine when my FMS failed, noticed it and managed to stop the engine before i lost all the oil, it can happen very quickly, so after that, i added an ultra bright LED to the circuit for safety.
