Style
How much abuse can these guys take? I did a search and the only thing I found was someone running just over 500lb/ft through his with no issues. Has anyone actually broke one and at what level? Trying to gauge if I need a better diff while I'm refreshing the underside Cheers
Chris Bailey
We have a small case AO2B with a TRD LSD,ours is about 600+lbft now and still all good. Although we don't do many hard launches etc and we are auto so might not take as much strain?

I'm looking at the OS Giken ones as the TRD's are hard to come by nowadays. But not sure if I need to spend 4 figures on one if the stock core can handle the power
j_jza80
Look at the number of chasers, soarers, aristos etc on the drift scene running big single setups, and giving them loads of abuse. The only issue with the small case, IMO, is if you are doing lots of aggressive launches from being stationary, and running big power and big tyres. For most, especially those with road cars, the small case is absolutely fine until you start looking at big power, maybe 700ft/lb plus. That settles that then...a diff can wait
berg
I'm 575ft/lbs with an a02b Plenty of hard launches in mine no issues But not sure i would have the bottle to do a hard launch on a drag strip with sticky tyres though I guess the key would be to try and slip the clutch slightly to take the big hit out of the drivetrain and I'm sure it would be fine even then
