Hi Folks

My first supra TT Auto 1994 has been running extremely well, for 115k miles the engine has not given a single bit of bother. Car has sat dormant for almost 3 years, so time for spring cleaning. I am getting married in september, then immigrating to canada in november. I would love to take the supra with me but we need the money to settle down.

So i plan to sell the Supra by about end september.

Being almost a 24 year old car, its started to show on it's smaller issues.

So my plan is to make this supra as perfect as i possibly can to give it a good send off before i start the next chapter of my life.

current mod list:

Front mount intercooler

Blitz nur spec R

Blitz bov

Airintake

Gizzmo ms2 boost controller

Trail rear bumper

front splitter

Top Secret Sideskirts

Current to do list:

Refurb Headlights

Paint intercooler

Rubber strip for Bumper/Bonnet

Alloy Swap + Tyre Stickers

New Seats (maybe... up for debate)

Boost Controller diagnosis (might be faulty or just old and shit)

Boost Gauge and AFR Gauge

Am2 slot in Fuse Box is fucked.

Tidy engine bay

problem solve aerial motor

Upgrade fuel pump

General electrical problems (headlights and electric windows effect what dash lights come on and how bright, radiator, oil light etc.)

Reinstate cruise control (i love cruise control)

replace spark plugs to Denso/NGK Iridium - IK22

I'm not a mechanic or have any family that is, what i do know is learned off the internet and stalking mechanics i have befriended in their garages. So please correct me if you see anything off.

Also any advisements or advice would be appreciated. :)

Day 1

Tried Refurbing the headlights with compound machine polish (didnt sand down first)

It worked to some extent and there is a noticeable difference but most of the "damage" is on the inside

So looks like im going to follow the guide here http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/topic/77107-supra-headlight-restoration-guide/

and do a black spray on the inside while i'm at it.

Day 2

AM2 30amp Fuse is giving me hell. It's completely melted the connectors. I suspect either a bad earth or shitty potholes has caused it to jump out and short leaving a nasty surprise.

Found a talented car electrician that has come recommended. Booked an appointment for him to come out in a couple days. See if the fuse box itself needs replacing or just the connectors.

Also tackle the rest of the small electrical issues whilst we are at it (and get my beloved cruise control back, oh how i miss it :innocent: )

cheers for that Kay Jay, compared them to the veilside and thought they looked identical.

Do you remember fitting a restrictor ring?

Swampy I think its the whole ignition system. because when it pops, whole car shuts down, cant turn it back on. 0 dash lights etc.
