What's it worth thread BPU TT6 need for tomorrow

Hello, I need to get a rough valuation for insurance, I thought I better change it as I've given them the same amount for the last 8 years.

Import RZ TT6, mileage is somewhere between 100 - 110k miles. Stays garaged 95% dry weather only.

Paint still looks good and there is no cracking of the blending done in 08

Why is mileage approximate? Mix of km and miles?

Also what year is it? A 1993 may be worth more since it will be eligible for import to USA in 2018.

it's a '94, I can't remember what mileage it's on, the first x amount was in km and then converted to miles. I'd have to dig it out, I only need a rough approximation. Prices seem to be all over the place.

I can't help with the valuation other than take what you have previously been supplying as the valuation, and double it

I just insured my 96 with similar distance covered for £24k on agreed value. That's what TT6 imports from Japan are costing these days. Insurance should always be the replacement cost, not the actual retail value.

What value did you have it down as last year?

eek, I just moved it from £10k to £12k value and they said it was £20 more on the insurance, so I thought I'd check then I've seen crazy numbers being banded about.

I'll buy it for £12k, will tomorrow be soon enough?

I thought 18-20k for insurance.

I think the original trophy blue was a 60's GM creation.

Looking at the engine bay I'd guess the original colour was silver.

No less than 20k for insurance!

Yeah it's a rover colour, originally white as per garage pics. Went for £18k in the end as even that seems high.

Mines insured at £20k and it's a BPU TT6
