Hi guys,

As the title says, what are the differences between these three intercoolers beside the end tanks.

If I'm not mistake the ETS uses a bar and plate design, and they have an offset between the fins. What about the SRD and Whifbitz cores?

Do they use a Garret core?

Just generic Bar and Plate FMIC the only differences being your choice of thickness I cant imagine for the price of the Whifbitz and SRD units they are anything other than Chinese made units that will work as well as each other I could be wrong but I doubt it.

A decent SMIC is about £1000

Wifbitz and srd are the same kit with different print on the silicone. Cant coment on the ets. I have just fitted a wifbitz kit to mine. Its a nice kit at a bargain price. But i did have some fitting issues with the pipe kit. Im going to get a custom pipe done for one side at a later date

Are they really that bad? Lots of people on this forum are using these intercoolers.

However I can't find any topics on these on supraforums.com.

Its not that any of them are bad at all, but they aren't unique and really an intercooler is an intercooler regardless of the stamp or lack thereof on it.

Its like saying why pay £500 for an intercooler when you can buy the same one on ebay for £100 without the branding.
