Advice on supra tail gate

Hi all

I have been looking for a rust free supra boot/tail gate but they seem impossible to find. Ones that do come up for sale have the same problem as mine and have rust around the glass/rubber seal.

I see knight racer do a fibreglass one and it says it fits all the stock trim etc do you think this would be a good option or should I just keep hunting?

Thanks

Jonny

i sold one in Dec, completely rust free and I've seen 1 since.

That was the right colour to. It comes down to right place at the right time. Johnny did well with the Chilli purchase just needs to be patient for the parts to bring it to where its going.

Not sure maybe worth a call but I guess they will be hideously expensive.

Supra-love was wanting to sell his fibre glass one the finish and fit of it was amazing maybe give him a pm.

New ones are around £650+vat I think because I considered one a few months ago until I found a good boot lid.

Cheers yeah will give him a PM.

I did give Toyota a call but they have discontinued all models of it :-( but then again he did tell me the price would have been over £900 for a bare one.

I bought a seibon carbon fibre one and had it painted. Fit's like stock, glass is all in perfectly. The only thing that's a little loose is the big plastic trim on the inside however it does sit in place and with some fettling I'm sure I'll get it to fit perfectly.

My thinking was that I could buy a new one from toyota but again the water will collect in the same place and eventually cause the same problem. This way I never have to worry
