Sorry! But, what's it worth?

I'll try to keep it short... basically I haven't been using my Supra recently nearly as much as I used to, and I think it's maybe time to get a different car. No idea what, but that's partially because I'm not sure what the Supra is realistically worth at the moment.

Some key points about the car:

- 2001 TT6 RZ-S imported from Japan

- 1 previous owner

- Around 54,000 miles (unconfirmed - was switched from KPH to MPH during import)

- Japanese and English service history/MOT's

- Receipts from all work carried out by Whifbitz, DI Racing etc

- MOT until 20/01/2018

- Includes 'V9 SUP' private plate worth £250

Some honest points about the car:

- Paint has a few minor marks/scratches and one dent

- The map needs to be sorted out (ideally deleted and then remapped from new)

- The current diff is an open diff as the Torsen broke

- Rip in the fabric on the underside of the bonnet

And a painfully large spec list just so there's nothing left blank:

Tough one to price, as on the one hand it was a genuine factory VVTi TT6, and has some decent branded parts on it. But it obviously needs work, the mapping especially may put people off, as may the reworked ebay manifold. I'd probably say £18k in its current condition, get the niggles sorted and you could ask quite a bit more. :)

Wow the cheek of some people that's a lowball offer. I'd give you £2k all day long

Really nice car mate glws best colour

Hmm that is an extremely tempting offer [emoji848] thanks buddy still not 100% sure though

From what I've seen mate I'd say 26-28k mate

I would have thought 26-28k is silly money for a modified one! Maybe if it was totally stock, unmolested and lived in a garage all it's life, but that certainly isn't the case ;)

28k lol absolutely no chance. 20k is reasonable and still probably wouldnt sell

I was thinking around 20k to be honest but I just wasn't sure. I paid 15k for this car (stock) back in 2014

I've been thinking the same myself - spend that bit of money getting every little issue sorted then sell it as mint as it can be. 20k would be a very nice sum to put towards a new car, decisions decisions. Thanks for the input

I know of an immaculate black 6sp single, that's recently been bought for £19k. And a TT6 being imported, with circa 50k miles on it - again for £19k.

People aren't going to pay the best part of 30 grand for a supra, unless it's something pretty special!

Fair point but this is white, stock bodied, and single turbo and face lift vvti and quite a fresh import so I just went from that

What's the spec though? Big difference between a single turbo using a piggyback and an eBay turbo kit, to one using branded parts and a decent full standalone ecu set up.

Who cares?

The only things that have really changed for the better, are turbos and management. Everything else makes no difference

Two of the most critical parts of the install. :D homers car was great, but cannot be compared favourably (performance wise) to something using much newer turbo technology, management, traction control etc.
