Thought I'd start a build thread of the Supra here.

The Supra at the moment has got quite a few modifications done to it as it is. I bought it with the intention of reversing some of these and enhancing others. For example getting rid of the boost controller for a better one etc.

First of all a bit about the Supra:

Has approx 80,000 miles on it (lol sure it does) ;)

Twin turbo auto

Needs a lot of work. Matrix replacement. Gauges don't work. Interior is a bit messy. Sills etc. Etc

Current modifications: (is a BPU +++)

Will have the usual suspects in this list.

Double decats.

Irdium plugs

FCD

Restrictor plate

FMIC

BC coilovers

HKS intake

Apexi AVCR

Plan to get it dyno'd asap. Currently at 1 bar and approx 400 ish bhp.

Plans for the future:

First step is to bring the car back to a respectable condition in the power band it is.

Going to replace:

Fuel pump and filter

New cam belt,

Water pump

Mishimoto rad with auto trans cooler

Painting the cam covers, intake and exhaust a matte black colour.

Full Interior refabrication. Leather doors. Alcantara dash etc.

Pioneer sound system.

(list will grow no doubt)

Plan to go single turbo sometime next year fingers crossed. Which is going get me on the tesco value beans for a while no doubt. SRD autobox here we come.

Lol first thing i did when i got it was sort the rear seats out. Detailed the car. New OSRAM led Interior bulbs. Osram numberplate bulbs. New rad cap. New bonnet seal. And I NEED TO WIRE THE HORN!!! :(

I noticed you said you wanted to change the boost controller for a better one. Just curious about what's wrong with the apexi?

Hi. Basically the solenoid was damaged. Its an Apexi AVCR. I wanted a GREDDY profec. But to be honest the Apexi is a good controller I just thought since im replacing the solenoid why not get new controller. But i may just buy a new solenoid instead. The word "better" was probably wrong word to use

Should have taken some more pictures but work done so far:

New fuel filter fitted

Machine polished headlights

Wired up side lights properly as one was out.

Installed missing rubber seals on bonnet end.

Wired up the horn finally with a custom made harness which was surprisingly easy.

Numberplate put on from demon plates. Top service.

FCD fitted. Old one played up

Personally love the way headlights turned out. Good as new. UV coated them to seal the lens.

Headlights back in. Look lovely. Will convert fogs to hid soon.

Oil temp sensor put in sump.

Next changes:

Quick release Steering wheel NRG hub with quick release and working horn. Will do a write up on how that is done and what parts i used. Dont think someone has covered my method yet.
