tbourner
Just had my fan belt changed because of all the annoying squeaking when it's 'a bit' cold, and it's now silent (well in terms of squeaking) and it also seems to be running a lot smoother - probably just a placebo effect but I'm happy anyway!! Jake
how much did that cost? coz mine is squeaking abit and it is starting to worry me They're £21 from Halfords. Special order though, takes them 24 hours to get one in
tbourner
I did it at a local garage (Harrington Autos in Farlington), I don't have a proper power bar or anything plus am not confident enough to do it. Could do it now though if I had a hand and the tools, looked easy enough. They got me a Goodyear belt and charged £15. £20 for fitting. tbourner
No they charged half an hour, they usually charge a minimum of an hour but as it's such a little job.... Well actually the guy took about 25 minutes anyway.
