j_jza80 Posted January 23, 2017 Share Posted January 23, 2017 White cars were traditionally aspirational in Japan as the colour apparently represents prosperity, hence the large number of Japanese cars in White (white was unpopular elsewhere when Supras were being sold new ) not sure if this is still the case. Nothing but silver and I ended up buying the 6th car that happened to be the first non silver one I looked at, it was and is white. It was white before the fast and furious films and I thought it looked good, even in 1998. Just happens that white went on to become the new black and who knows, silver might become the new white? From what I've seen/heard at the last 2 Tokyo auto salons, there isn't going to be a new supra sadly (even my friend that works for Toyota USA said the same).
