mr bean Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 As the title suggests. Couple of weeks back I had to purchase a new battery as my old one was goosed. Left car for 4 days and car is totally dead again.. Few issues I've got at the moment are central looking is only locking car but wont unlock. The interior light has stopped working also the clock isn't working. So av been routing through the fuses in side the car and all are intact. Then i moved into the engine bay fuses and discovered that the Dome Light Fuse had popped. Are they all interconnected in some way and could this cause a battery drain. berg Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 4 days will not kill a good working new battery even at this time of year My mate has a tiny race battery and even thats lasts around 6 days this time of year and not much more than a week in summer Sounds like something is draining it, ive had this problem Get a multi meter and do a parasitic drain test to check for any amp draw, you shouldnt see any more than 0.03 on the meter If its higher start pulling fuses 1 by one and see which one makes it drop down Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
