The results exceeded my expectations to be honest... This is how they looked before. I used 800 grit, then 1200 and at the end 2000. Movement left to right and up to down. This is how they looked after this process. Then I used polishing compound to polish the headlights. Just give it a very quick polish every few months and you will be good to go All plastic headlights become dull again after some time once you start sanding into them. The reason I didn't open the headlights and change them to black is because I have plans to get a pair of facelift ones in the near future. I haven't seen the film to be honest. How long they will last taking in consideration that in summer there might be 40 degrees on them? I used 800,1200,2000 water grit and then a Rotary Foam Pad with Mirka Polarshine T10 (if I remember well). I can have a look and get you some pictures of the tools if you want.
