CarlM Posted December 20, 2016 Share Posted December 20, 2016 Hi all, I've got a bad puncture on one of my rear tyre's and it need's replacing! I have Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 all round and i've discovered they're now discontinued and have moved on to Asymmetric 3 Therefore I would need to by 2 new rear tyres for the back My rear wheels are 9J and my front wheels are 8J I've found some 2nd hand but new Yokahoma AD08 tyres, size's are 265/40/18 for the back and 235/40/18 for the front which I'd like to go for, I just wanted to make sure the profile looks okay as my current rears are 265/35/18 but I've heard that a 40 profile is better? Tri-Ace Racing King tyres are only about £100 per tyre in 265/35/18 and they're made by Yokohama and are EXACTLY the same as AD08R.
