Splash shield/brake backing plate part numbers.

I have the following part numbers for RH and LH brake backing plates for a TT6 Supra.

47781-14160 and 47782-14160

Question is does anyone know if his dust shield apply to both jspec and uk spec cars? If not does anyone have the respective part numbers.

if you know the vin for a car with big brakes from factory i can check the epc for you

All UK Supras were fitted with the larger 4pot/2pot brakes, the J-spec Supras were fitted with the smaller and larger brakes from the factory. The dust shields are different sizes specific to the brakes that are fitted, if upgrading to the larger brakes most either cut the (usually very rusty) dust shields off or trim the lip off them to accommodate the larger discs.

Those part numbers are for the larger front brake dust shields.

It depends what brakes you have fitted. These are the part numbers for the smaller 2pot front brakes, the part numbers in your first post are for the larger 4pot front brakes.

47781-14150 COVER, DISC BRAKE DUST, FRONT RH

47782-14150 COVER, DISC BRAKE DUST, FRONT LH

Just FYI, if you are planning on changing the shields. In theory they are held in with bolts. Most I've seen are seized on there for good thanks to 20 years of heat cycles. So be prepared for a bit of a fight unless you get lucky.
