Traction problems?

So I was just out for a spin while it was dry out and noticed from every take off I was spinning up a lot taking about 4 seconds or so to find traction.

Playing with the traction SNOW or OFF buttons don't seem to work - looks unresponsive?

Can someone tell me if this is normal? The tyres are fairly new and my take offs weren't exactly that aggressive if it helps.

Cold weather, cold roads, cold tyres - sounds very normal. A lot of people underestimate these factors at this time of year and usually end up upside down in ditch on fire!

Ha ha see I thought the same thing but recently even in the wet I found it was getting decent traction. But I suppose coldness is a huge factor anyway. Sucks my supra only became road legal at the end of summer

Have patience, Spring will be here before you know it.

Decent tyres are a must have on a supra don't try and save a few penny's on cheap tyres it will only come back and bite you in the arse

What size wheels and what profile tyres?

Also quite important have you had the geometry looked at, places up here in B'ham offer free checks

In the dry even in these cold temps i never had any issues getting traction and that was on low profile 19's

Cold tyres will spin up, not helped by cold, damp roads early in the day or later in the evening. The eagle F1's I've got on at the moment seem quite a lot worse than other brands I've used as it gets cold.

A set of winter wheels shod with 40 profile Pirelli Sottozero is as good as it gets for Supra driving this time of the year.
