ShawnPreece Posted November 15, 2016 Share Posted November 15, 2016 Not sure if its just from being 22 years old now or whether its the fact I got a BGW on the back but sometimes my boot will not always hold open... does anyone else have this problem with having a BGW on the back and if so is there a part number and supplier somewhere with slightly stronger than standard struts that will do the job? or do people find that the standard ones are fine and its just that mine are a little tired from age? You need to send your old ones in so they can use re-use the brackets. Make sure you send tracked and signed!!! http://www.sgs-engineering.com/car-boot-tailgate/toyota/supra/gsc2269-toyota-supra-boot-strut p.s. mine is stock spoiler so not sure if you need stronger or not. You have to send your old boot struts to SGS as they need to install the fasteners from your old struts to the new ones. Really excellent item, very good quality indeed.
