Supra TT/Single Wanted.

Hello,

I'm looking for an Toyota Supra TT or Single. I'm based in Tayside but I'm willing to travel for the right car.

Would prefer low mileage, facelift + standard and / or subtle exterior mods. Would prefer BPU or Single. Something that has been very well kept after.

Don't mind if it is Manual or Automatic.

Clean and undersealed, with pictures of before and after, is a bonus. Not a deal breaker as I can get this done myself.

Not keen on bodykits, like the stock look but do like aftermarket wheels.

Would prefer to buy off someone on here, so I can have a better idea of the cars history etc.

Cheers.

A stock TT on ebay just sold for £8,500 which looked really clean (and this was an auction). No idea where you got 13k from as to be honest, they're really not that expensive.

This one has 20k miles and is bone stock! It doesn't get better than that, and they're still only asking £13k, and Tom Harvey are notoriously shitty for outrageous mark-ups.

Tom Harvey (the dealer with disgustingly big markups) doesn't even charge 13k for a TT auto.

Thanks for the links. Well, basically, I've got an opportunity to spend around 13K (for a new car) so want the best Supra I can get for the money. If I can't find a Supra I like, I'll consider something else. That one for 12.7K does interest me but it seems a bit sparse on details.

That's a bargain for a fresh import, a club member sold a tiptronic supra on here this year for more than that.

£13k isn't enough for a manual, but it's a good budget that will allow him to have his choice of autos and tiptronics. Personally I'd go for a fresh import every time.

I distinctly remember a clean TT Triptonic struggling to find 10k last month. Will find a link. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331965-2000-Toyota-Supra-VVTI-Twin-turbo-Tiptronic-SOLD

and another-

and this was in the warmer parts of the year!

That sounds like a pretty fun opportunity indeed.

If the biggest red-flag on a Supra advert is "sparce details" you're probably onto a winner :D

It's "sparse", not "sparce". :) I'm not seeing it as a "red-flag", but I can see from your replies in this thread that you don't like me much for some reason.

Aw mate I'm sorry if I came across like that! I was half-asleep typing on my tablet in bed!

No worries, mate. :) Just to be clear my budget is 13K but that doesn't mean I'll pay over the odds, and if I see one I like for 10-11K for example, I'll keep the extra 2-3K for any initial maintenance / mods.

Secret is don't rush it, prices start to fall this time of year, usually.....

Good luck to you Carnage, I had a similar budget to you and waited around 3 months before I eventually bought mine. As some have already said, just don't rush it :)

I was seriously interested in that black one that is on PH, the only reason I didn't go to view it was because of the distance, literally opposite ends of the country
