I've just copied the following off another thread as I thought it may be useful...

yeah, I couldn't believe it either. i originally went for the Infinity 'Bass link' which is the all in one amplified 10" sub in a tacky plastic box...then I came up with the Idea 'What If I get an MDF 10" box and place it on it's back'. An MDF box will sound much better than the Basslink.

The Halfords 10" box actually fits standing up as normal against the back seat but it's only just under the rear glass, a pot hole may make it go through the rear window! But Placing it on it's back - no issues. I still have the spare wheel, the foam tool holder bits and the carpet - nothing needs to be taken out apart from possibly the boot cover liner which I don't have (I have tinted rear window so you can't see the box).
When I get home, I'll give you the dimensions of the box.

I've even screwed the amp onto the side of the box.

I think the above is a good couch potato solution!

I'm sure I get top marks for my highly accurate and technical diagram!

Cheers,
Ro
