You mean carbon 'effect' wrap?

Genuine carbon will be skimmed, or you can get it dipped.

Wrapping is another option that you've used I think.

You need to make sure you have a very clean surface to start, heat the wrap up using a heatgun and lay it down slowly making sure it goes into the recessed/ridges.

When it's in place you need to post heat it also, as that makes the wrap form to the shape it's been applied to.

If using 3m (dinoc etc), remove oem rubber from surface and i suggest that you use 3m spesific vinyl "glue" on panels under wrap. On my car, after summer, vinyl started to bubble, badly from edges / bends due heat. That glue should help with that. Panels gets really hot inside parked car on sunny days!

another recommendation for having it dipped :) a few of the panels will be straight forward enough but some will be a right pig to do, I tried wrapping the top dash pieces (the piece above the dials and has the clear plastic screen with the odo behind it) and was turning out to be alot of work to get it right so I sent it away to be dipped in the end by a member on here and was very happy with the result.
