Selling on behalf of a friend

Bit of history behind this car but will keep it brief.

Johnny purchased the car in 1999 and over the years had put many hours time and a lot of money into it.

It’s had a lot of quality parts put into it although a little dated by today’s standards, He kept it maintained, doing all the work himself.

It has spent some time off the road not being used since 2012.

Unfortunately for reasons I won’t go into Johnny very sadly died last year.

The car was then transferred to Johnny’s Dads house where it has sat until now.

The plan was to hopefully sell the car and pass it on to someone who would continue to improve it and enjoy it.

While Johnny’s parents would love to keep it and do it up, they just don’t have the money and the sale will help pay back the funeral costs.

We offered to help and gave the car a check over and documented the spec. We have a folder full of receipts for parts which show the story of the conversion from stock car to what it is now.

Unfortunately we did find that the car needs some work to get it up to a usable standard.

For that reason we are offering the car at a low price with the hope that someone will want to buy it as a project.

If it doesn’t sell at this price within a few weeks then we will have to break it for parts.

The price we are asking is £10,000

RIP to Johnny and condolences to his family. Hopefully this will sell quickly.

You say the engine is noisy, in what respect?

havnt been able to identify it at this stage but has a ticking from the front of the engine

Thanks guys we would just really like someone to carry on with the car but understand it needs a lot of work.

Really happy to say we have taken a deposit on the car.

The new owner is looking to put some time and money into the car to get it up to potential.
